New Clubs for the New Year

The year is off to a great start for the Flying Clubs Initiative. We are happy to announce the successful formation of six new flying clubs! Please join us in congratulating the following clubs for being newly listed on the Flying Clubs Finder in the first quarter of 2022:

San Juan Flying Club – Montrose, Colorado

Flying Rangers Flying Club – Livingston, Montana

Spruce Creek Aviators – Port Orange, Florida

Cloud Dodgers Flying Club – Ocala, Florida

2022 Flight Training Scholarships Awarded Next Month

Steve Travels to The Last Frontier

You Can Fly Initiative Director Steve Bateman will be heading to Alaska in early May to participate in the 2022 Great Alaska Aviation Gathering at the Alaska State Fairgrounds in Palmer, Alaska. There he will be presenting flying clubs seminars as well as a safety briefing on Why Good Pilots Make Bad Decisions. Steve will also be present at the Valdez Fly-In and Airshow. If you see him there be sure to buy him a beer!
