Finder Frustrations: Doing Something About It.
After concluding this year’s data cleanup where we emailed every club listed in the Flying Club Network and asked them to verify their information, we found ourselves a little bit frustrated. Unfortunately, too few clubs bothered to respond. This led us to record a new Flying Clubs Radio show to vent a little. Luckily, recording this show inspired us to come up with a cool idea: annual inspections for flying clubs. We recorded a list of items that clubs should address at least every year and had a lot of fun coming up with new ideas. Be sure to give those a listen!
Nearly AirVenture Time!
We’ll see you in a few short weeks at AirVenture! Drew and Steve will be around later in the week, so be sure to stop by and see us at the AOPA tent. On Thursday at 10:00 am, Steve will present "Beyond the ACS: A Meaningful Flight Review" at the NAFI booth (354). On Friday at 4:00 pm, we (Steve and Drew) will present "Maximum Fun, Minimum Cost: The Wonderful World of Flying Clubs", and at 6:00 pm, we will host a social event for all AOPA network flying clubs.
