Sumayah Rafi is a Specialist for the AOPA Foundation’s High School Aviation Initiative, working closely with the AOPA Foundation High School Aviation STEM Curriculum. She plays a pivotal role in overseeing the application process for high schools adopting the curriculum, aiding in its revision, and supporting the teachers implementing it. Additionally, Sumayah contributes to high school outreach efforts and assists in the planning and execution of annual events such as the AOPA High School STEM Symposium and various teacher workshops. A recent graduate of Vaughn College's Aeronautical Science program, Sumayah brings institutional events planning and curriculum development experience, as well as a boundless enthusiasm for all things aviation.
