Welcoming Jason Levine to the AOPA Flying Clubs Initiative

I’m pleased to introduce the new Manager of the AOPA Flying Clubs Initiative, Jason Levine. Jason is a native of Ellicott City, MD. He began his flying journey with a Groupon for a Discovery Flight in a Cessna 172 and from that moment forward he was hooked. After becoming a certificated pilot Jason joined the Clearview Flying Club at Clearview Airpark (2W2) and continued his flying journey. Jason is now a Certified Flight Instruction currently instructing at in Gaithersburg, MD. His short-term aviation goals include getting his CFII and continue his passion for giving back to the aviation community by helping new and existing Flying Clubs alike. Jason comes to AOPA from the hospitality industry where he trained leadership and management.

Please help me welcome Jason aboard and as always, don’t hesitate to reach out the team for any Flying Club’s assistance!

2024 Flying Clubs Survey

Every year the Flying Clubs Initiative sends out a survey to the AOPA Flying Clubs Network.  This survey allows us to get a finger on the pulse of flying clubs and the potential problems they are facing allowing us to better curtail the resources we provide.  Those of you that are members of the AOPA Flying Club's Network will be receiving an email in the coming weeks with the survey and we'd be grateful for 10 minutes of your time filling it out.

Scholarship Applications Now Open!

The AOPA Foundation Scholarship Program offers many types of aviation scholarships. From earning a primary certificate, to career advancement, to gaining additional ratings, we have scholarships to support nearly all aviation aspirations.
