The deadline to apply for the AOPA Foundation You Can Fly primary and advanced training scholarships is quickly approaching, if you or someone you know is interested in applying, click here and get the process started today. To apply, you must have already passed the private pilot written test. Notable Club Anniversaries and Achievements

Connecticut Flying Club Celebrates 75th Anniversary, Honors Founding Member

On November 18th last year the Civil Air Patrol Flying Association (CAPFA) celebrated a major milestone of 75 years in operation. Members had a social gathering along with their regular meeting and honored one of their last surviving founding members Jerry Katz with a panel mounted plaque on their recently added Piper Archer.
