Your Flying Clubs Team, Live!
Mark your calendars! Steve and Drew, your flying clubs crew will be making appearances at not one but TWO fly-in events this coming weekend. Flying Clubs Initiative director Steve Bateman spent much of his free time flying all over the great state of Virginia to complete their Airport Passport Program. Programs like this one encourage pilots and aviation enthusiasts to visit every airport and museum in their state. Virginia has 66 airports and Steve visited every single one of them! On Saturday September 25th, Steve will be at the Wings, Wheels & Keels event located at Hummel Airfield (W75) in Topping Virginia to receive his snazzy leather jacket along with the respect and adoration of all in attendance. On Sunday September 26th, Steve and Drew will be presenting at the Simsbury Fly-In, Car Show and Food Truck Festival at Simsbury Airport (4B9).
