AOPA Fly-In Schedule Announced
From music to rodeo, car shows to airshows, and Wild West excursions to a metropolitan vibe, our three locations will have something for everyone. AOPA staff have worked for months identifying, selecting, and finalizing this year’s fly-ins. Click here to see the upcoming locations.
At each fly in, we’ll be holding a Maximum Fun, Minimum Cost seminar for those interested in starting a flying club, and also a space-limited Flying Clubs Workshop to help existing clubs improve their operations.
Sectional Charts for Students
High schools in your area may be looking for expired sectional and TAC charts to help with their curriculum. This year, 161 schools in 34 states are using the You Can Fly High School Initiative’s curriculum to engage over 5,000 students in aviation. If your club is contacted by a local high school looking for expired charts, please do what you can to help. Expired charts are very useful for teaching navigation and flight planning.
Flying Clubs Survey
As the survey wraps up, we will be analyzing the data and presenting our findings in an upcoming edition. Stay tuned. Thanks to all who participated!
