We’re inviting a select group of AOPA members to help shape our new Mentor Program, connecting with students in classrooms and at local airports. Share your aviation journey, answer questions, and show them what’s possible when you chase the dream of flight.

AOPA Support at Every Turn

What We Ask of You
- Give just 45 minutes to 2 hours during the school year
- Participate in a virtual training session
- Complete local school requirements (such as a background check)
- Visit a classroom or host students at a local airport at least once during the school year
- Share your passion for aviation and answer questions
- Provide feedback to help us shape the future of the program
- Most importantly, have fun inspiring young minds!
